About UsNative Light Video is a small, husband and wife project located “back home” in Indiana. As life-long Midwesterners and ardent outdoor enthusiasts, we’ve developed a strong personal connection to the rhythms of the natural world. We appreciate Nature’s ability to show us not only beauty and balance, but also a subtle spiritual tapestry connecting all things.
Our goal in creating Native Light Video is to try and share some measure of the peace and renewal we’ve experienced in Nature. We do this as a labor of love, with no intent of making a profit. If, through our videos we can provide a brief escape from the stress of daily life by opening a door to a world of beauty and harmony, we’ll have achieved our mission.
In order to provide a convenient and realistic online experience of actually being outdoors, we’ve created a new and unique video series. Our short, three-minute video “walks” depict what you would see and hear if you were taking a peaceful walk in the wilds. The videos contain no narration, music or anything else artificial, just the sights and sounds of the great outdoors.
To meet the requirements of our special perspective videos, we have to shoot all our own footage. So, from time to time we pack up our gear and head for another magnificent part of this beautiful country, to film some of the grandest landscapes in North America. Blistering heat, freezing temperatures, the occasional rattlesnake encounter and bison stampede have all added to our adventures. We hope you enjoy our videos as much as we have enjoyed making them.
